We showcase a variety of specialist plant collections and offer visitor services such as guided tours . What’s In Bloom

Nooroo  is home to some of the most stunning and rare plants and flowers in the area. Our botanical displays change depending on the time of year and climate. Find out which plants are currently showcased in our garden and come see them for yourself.

Cafe Kiosk

when you visit Nooroo Garden, you are now able to visit our cafe kiosk for refreshments.   Coffee, hot chocolate and a wide variety of teas are available.  A number of home made snacks are also available.

Professional photographers and their beautiful work!

Each year, we are fortunate to have a number of professional photographers visit the garden and take some beautiful photos.   In recent years, Angela Rose Wood has visited and taken beautiful shots with our cherry trees.  More of her work can be seen at Angela Rose Photography or at the Nooroo Garden facebook page.   We look forward to seeing the results of her work this year!

Tea and coffee is now available on weekends!

Nooroo Garden now has espresso coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas available for sale on weekends and public holidays during the Autumn and Spring season.  Cookies, toasties, soup and a small selection of soft drinks and water are also available for you to enjoy.

Open at any time for pre-booked groups of more than 10 adults.

Take a guided tour through our garden to discover and appreciate all the hidden wonders it has to offer.
Our tour guides are trained and incredibly knowledgeable, so feel free to come prepared with your questions.

Is it possible to celebrate our wedding at Nooroo Garden Mt Wilson, NSW?

Nooroo Garden does not host weddings in the garden as yet.   However, the garden is available for engagement, pre-wedding and wedding photographs at any time of the year.   Please contact us if you would like to make a booking for a private visit.

Is Nooroo garden open in the Summer and in Winter?

Nooroo Garden is open for private tours in Summer and in Winter.  Nooroo Garden is otherwise open in Autumn and Spring for all guests.   To organise a private tour, please email or call us. 

Are there bathroom facilities?

Nooroo has one unisex bathroom available for use by its guests.  Nooroo is entirely dependent on tank water and so is not able to offer more than one bathroom facility.

Can we bring our pet to visit the garden?

Yes, pets are welcome to visit Nooroo Garden provided that they are supervised closely and kept on a leash at all times.

Can we picnic in the garden?

Yes, you are most welcome to picnic in the garden provided that you keep the area clean and do not leave any picnic leftovers or rubbish in the garden.

Can we buy chestnuts?

Chestnuts are for sale at the gate in Autumn.  The chestnuts are organic and hand picked and are delicious!

What are the payment options?

Nooroo Garden will accept payment by way of cash, credit/EFTPOS card and cheque.

Does Nooroo Garden offer tea and coffee?

On weekends during Autumn and Spring, Nooroo offers tea, coffee and other refreshments for a small additional fee.   

Also, form all private tours booked in advance, Nooroo Garden offers morning or afternoon tea for a small fee in addition to the entrance fee.
